Things worth noting
Is it legal to use on calls?
Recording and consent rules differ by country and state. Hearby listens live and does not keep a recording, and it gives you a one-tap line to tell the other person you use a coaching app. When in doubt, tell them.
Does my audio leave my device?
Speech is turned into text on your device by default. Only the words needed to write your next line are sent, and nothing is kept after the conversation.
What counts as a live minute?
A minute where Hearby is listening to a real conversation with prompts on. Practice with the practice partner is counted separately and is unlimited on Pro.
Which earbuds does it work with?
AirPods, any Bluetooth earbuds and wired earphones. You do not need to buy anything new.
What does Hearby refuse to do?
It goes quiet in courtrooms, exams, police interviews and live job interviews, and it never clones anyone's voice but yours. Interviews are practice only.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from Billing in your account and your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Free.
