How fast is it?

In our own end to end test the reply started about 270 ms after the other person stopped, measured in software on 2026-09-30. Earbud latency adds to that.

Does it record the call?

No. It listens live on your device and keeps no recording.

Where does it work?

Zoom, Meet, FaceTime, Teams and phone calls through your Mac, and in person on your iPhone.

Does the other person hear it?

No. The line plays only in your earbuds and the call audio is never lowered.

What if they interrupt?

The line is dropped and written again from everything they said.

What will it not do?

It goes quiet in courtrooms, exams, police interviews and live job interviews.
